Set 1:
From Mexico by way of San Diego, Wilfrido Terrazas is a flautist and multi-instrumentalist, composer, and improviser of exceptional breadth and depth. I’ve been enjoying his Pirate Songs immensely - a highlight of which, Song for Peter, is played in multiple arrangements, demonstrating its memorable main theme’s mutability and underlying beauty in a variety of contexts.

Wilfrido will be improvising this performance with trombonist Michael Dessen, bassist Kathryn Schulmeister, and drummer Tina Raymond.
